Geoff moved to Cedar Rapids in 1999 to attend Kirkwood Community College where he earned a degree in Construction Management in 2001, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mount Mercy University in 2003. After working for nine years in estimating, project management and business development for Septagon Construction, he joined Compass Commercial Services as the Construction Business Manager in July of 2012.
Geoff brings 16 years of experience working in the local construction industry managing projects from conception to completion. Since joining Compass Commercial Services in 2012, he has developed and manages a team with the expertise to handle multiple projects across the commercial construction arena. Compass Commercial Services has grown exponentially under Geoff’s guidance and new projects are added to the portfolio each continually.
During his 15+ years in the local construction industry, Geoff has worked hard to cultivate relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients and co-workers. His leadership skills as the manager for Compass Commercial Services exemplifies his passion for the commercial construction business.
